Professional Biography

Statement

It is my goal to be elected to position 6 of the Pearland I.S.D. School Board.

I believe my skill sets in educational methodologies, school finance and law as well as my private sector experience in finance, problem solving and team building can add value to the board, school district, students and the community at large.

It is my mission to serve as an informed representative that will manage with honor and respect for the students, staff and community.

I will listen to you and I will also remain constant in my thought process as to what is best for our students.  The goal of the board in my view is to manage the gap and forge a bridge between the community, school administration, school staff and students, while aligning fiscal responsibility and sound judgment through a defined leadership model.

We need to work together in a positive progressive model that will address the issues that exist in our school district, and we need to promote the outstanding achievements that our district has become known for throughout the state of Texas.

Best Regards,

Sam Gray
